My poem "Ode to Objects" took the second place of Ian Macmillan Writing Contest (Hawai'i Review, chosen by Janine Oshiro). Read the judge's and my comments about the piece here. The poem will appear in the May issue of HR.
Another poem "Meditations on How to Break up with My Sick Boyfriend" has been chosen by The Pinch (former Memphis State Review) as Poem of the Month in May (It sounds like a busy month!). Stay tuned!
On 29 March 2012, from 7-9, I will be reading with nine poets, including Justin Hill and Shirley Lim at City University of Hong Kong. Come and spend two hours listening to poetry. Did I mention there's also an open mic session too? Click on the images below to view the details.
